Logo print-readiness, answered.
How do I know if my logo is print-ready?
A logo is print-ready when it is a true vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF), built at high resolution, with a transparent background and proper print color. Your report tests your file for each of these and explains, in plain English, what to fix.
Why won't my AI-generated logo print properly?
AI logo generators output flat raster images (PNG or JPG). These blur when enlarged, cannot be edited, and lack the vector paths that printers, sign makers and embroiderers require for clean production.
Is PNG or SVG better for a logo?
For a logo, SVG (a scalable vector) is best for print, signage and scaling to any size. PNG (a raster image) is fine for quick web use but loses quality when enlarged. Ideally you keep both, a vector master and a PNG for the web.
What file format do print shops and sign makers need?
Production vendors such as print shops, sign makers, embroiderers and manufacturers need a vector file: AI, EPS, SVG or PDF. A flat PNG or JPG is usually rejected or produces blurry results.
What resolution does a logo need for printing?
A true vector has no resolution limit and prints crisp at any size. A raster image needs roughly 300 DPI at its final printed size, so a small on-screen PNG will look pixelated on anything larger than a business card.
Can I turn my PNG or JPG logo into a vector?
Yes. Automatic tracing tools exist but usually produce messy, unusable paths. Bootstrap Branding rebuilds your logo by hand in Adobe Illustrator into a clean, fully editable vector for $250.
How much does the report cost and is my file private?
The full PDF report is $9.99, paid securely through Stripe. Your logo is sent only to generate your report and is deleted automatically afterward. We never share it, and your card details go straight to Stripe, we never see or store them.

Built by a studio that brands for a living.
This checker comes from Bootstrap Branding, a naming and brand-development studio we've run since 2019. We're a Fiverr Pro, Top Rated team that has named and branded 3,000+ businesses across 82+ countries.
We built this tool because we kept seeing the same heartbreak: a founder falls in love with an AI-generated logo, then hits a wall the moment they try to print it, put it on packaging, or hand it to a manufacturer. Your report tells you exactly where you stand, in plain English, so you can make the right call.
